PMB audits and prepares patient demographics and charge data prior to entry into our system. Charges are reconciled to your daily work log to insure all chargeable services are included.

Generation of Third Party Insurance Claims
PMB utilizes "paperless" (electronic) claims submission to the major third party carriers. Paper claims are submitted as necessary.

Generation of Patient Statements
PMB forwards statements to each patient account with an open balance, including balance billing.

Electronic Medical Record Packages
Available to purchase or as a monthly subscription.

Response to Patient and Insurance Company Inquiries
All patient statements and claim forms include PMB's phone number for billing questions.

Credit Balance Refund Checklist
Complete document for verified overpayments are retained in our office. We provide you with a monthly listing for refund checks.

Follow-up on Pended/Rejected/Incorrectly Paid Insurance Claims
Reviews and/or appeals, as necessary, are completed by PMB.

Follow-up on Patient Responsible Accounts
PMB strives to form a positive relationship with your patient regarding their bill to promote cooperation and minimize delinquency. We maintain on-going follow-up procedures for those accounts that may become delinquent.

Generation of Management Reports
Customized files are established for your payor mix, providing processing and reporting details for a wide variety of reimbursement methods (fee-for-service, capitation, per diem, etc.)

Practice Management Services
These services are undertaken to assist physicians in making reimbursement decisions in the area of contract negotiations, feasibility studies and in-depth reviews of your current billing practices.
